JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a rehabilitation assistant, you will be an important part of our team within municipal primary care. Together with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff, you help patients achieve a better everyday life.

Your tasks may include:

• Supporting physiotherapists and occupational therapists during home visits and training as a second person, both in the patient's home and in residential care
• Carrying out training on behalf of physiotherapists or occupational therapists
• Introducing care staff during the handover of training assignments to them
• Reconditioning aids, picking up aids from the patient's home
• Answering the phone, handling laundry

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has training as a rehabilitation assistant or is studying to become an occupational therapist/physiotherapist. If you are studying, we prefer that you have completed 4 semesters
• Can work independently as well as in a team
• Is passionate about helping people, especially the elderly, to feel better in their daily lives
• Is solution-focused, flexible, and easy to collaborate with

The municipality of Tjörn requests a criminal record extract in connection with this recruitment.

For certain professions within the municipality of Tjörn, an extract from the criminal record and/or a security check is required. For all positions within the social services, an acceptable extract from the police's criminal record must be presented.
